Yoko Phillips, M.S.Ed, BCBA, LBA
Small Group Intervention Program Coordinator
Ms. Phillips, a Board Certified Behavior analyst since 2005, earned her B.S in Psychology in 2000 from Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts. After graduation, she has worked as a behavior therapist utilizing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with children with a variety of ages and disabilities. While working as a therapist, Ms. Phillips enrolled at a graduate program at Simmons' College to pursue a Master's Degree in Behavioral Education. Upon the graduation in May 2005, she was promoted to a Clinical Coordinator at the same agency. While working as a Clinical Coordinator, she has gained experience in supervising therapists, consulting school classrooms and other community agencies, parent training and creating a various educational programs and behavior plans. She has moved to Seattle area and joined the NBA team as a Program Manager in November 2006. She is continuing to pursue her professional development and through various continuing education opportunities. In May 2013, Ms. Phillips moved to the Small Group Intervention Program Coordinator position. In this capacity, she designs individualized social skills programs and data collection system, monitor and evaluate the progress, and collaborate with Program Managers to create goals that address each learner's unique needs.
Ms. Phillips is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International and the Northwest Association for Behavior Analysis. In addition to being a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, she is also a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Washington State. Ms. Phillips is also a Microsoft Certified ABA Provider and an authorized ABA provider through TriCare. She is also a member of the Washington Association for Behavior Analysis (WABA). A native of Japan, Ms. Phillips is fluent in Japanese.
