Mallory Anderson-Macy, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
Ms. Macy’s journey with NBA dates back to 2005 when she started as a Tutor with a family receiving services. Well before there was a formal Tutor program in place, Ms. Macy received supervision and training. She stayed with this family throughout her undergraduate degree as well as experimenting with other roles in the field such as Peer Tutor in Special Education classrooms and as a Recreation Assistant for those with developmental disabilities in a community center. In 2010, her senior year at Washington State University, she was chosen for an internship position with NBA and delved deeper into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Upon the completion of her BA in Human Development and Family Studies, she was formally hired as a Tutor with NBA. Over the past several years she has worked with a variety of learners and their families providing direction intervention in the home and in community settings.
Ms. Macy’s supervision and employment at NBA inspired her to pursue her education further in the field of ABA. In 2012 Ms. Macy graduated from University of Washington with her M.Ed. in Special Education with an emphasis in ABA and is very excited to be making the transition to Program Manager after being with NBA for over 7 years. Ms. Macy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a Microsoft Certified Provider, and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Washington State. She is also a member of the Washington Association for Behavior Analysis (WABA).
