Garyfalia Pamer, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA
From a very young age, Ms. Pamer’s dream has been to work with children and adolescents with special needs. While pursuing her dream, she received a BS degree in Occupational Therapy in 2008 from the T.E.I. of Athens, Greece. During her final year of undergraduate studies, she was provided with a European Scholarship and had the chance to complete an internship at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. She also had the privilege of observing and working in a number of Swedish elementary and secondary schools that were providing services to students with autism. The exposure to both a culture and educational system that were very different than her own, increased her interest in working with learners on the spectrum from a critical and holistic perspective.
Upon her return to Athens, she worked for two years as a licensed OT for several private agencies that provided services to children with autism and other learning disabilities. One of these agencies operated under the principles of ABA and she became hooked.
In 2010 she moved to Seattle, WA, where she became a NBA Tutor and continued to learn more about ABA. During her time as a Tutor, Ms Pamer provided in home therapy as well as small group assistance to a number of children and youth on the autism spectrum. She also worked directly with NBA students in public elementary school settings and in the community.
In addition to her BS in Occupational Therapy, Ms. Pamer received her M.Ed. in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis in the summer of 2012. She made the transition to Program Manager upon completion of her degree. Ms Pamer is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a Microsoft Certified ABA provider, a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Washington State. She is also a member of the Washington Association for Behavior Analysis (WABA).
