Francisco Cornidez, M.Ed., BCBA, LB
Mr. Cornidez officially joined NBA in February 2016. He first began working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when he was privately hired by a family, and gained his formal training in Applied Behavior Analysis, through NBA’s training program back in 2012. Prior to working at NBA, he worked for the Center for Autism and Related Disorders and Behavioral Innovations, both agencies located in Austin, Texas where he lived for a year and a half. He is originally from Silver City, New Mexico, but has lived most of his adult life in Seattle. Mr. Cornidez is also fluent in Spanish.
In 2012, Mr. Cornidez graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Health Services, and completed the Physician Assistant program. After graduating, he worked at The Polyclinic in the Vascular Surgery Department. He decided to relocate to Texas where he pursued his passion for working with individuals with autism, and has continued providing intervention in the home, school, and community settings. In December 2017, he graduated from Arizona State University with a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Applied Behavior Analysis. Mr. Cornidez is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Washington State. He is also a Mental Health Professional under NBA’s DSHS licensure.
