Carolyn Grob, MA, BCBA, LBA
Ms. Grob is a licensed and board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 and a Master of Arts in Behavior Analysis from University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2017.
Carolyn was first exposed to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) by working with domestic animals under the supervision of a veterinary behaviorist, but her passion for the science has only continued to grow as she has worked in an early intervention clinic and then with teens and young adults.
At the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Ms. Grob worked under Dr. Dorothea Lerman for two years in the Vocational Skills Assessment and Training Program. Under Dr. Lerman’s mentorship, Ms. Grob assisted in creating a vocational assessment of job-related social skills. Ms. Grob’s research focusing on treatment for job-related social skills was published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis (JABA) in 2018.
In 2019, Ms. Grob joined the NBA team as a Program Manager. She continues to pursue her professional development and is currently a member of Association of Behavior Analysis International (ABAI).
Outside of work, Carolyn teaches her Labrador Retriever and cat silly tricks through clicker training, exploring the gems of (and photographing) the Pacific Northwest, and spending time with her family.
